ACI-Herzog, an operations and maintenance contractor for a heavy rail transit system fleet, was contracted by Tren Urbano in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to modernize their fleet.

During the testing phase of Tren Urbano's 74 trains, ACI-Herzog encountered an unexpected increase in failure rates for critical elements in their propulsion system.
