PICOSINE™ FOR HVAC SYSTEMS

​PicoSine™ optimizes the power supply for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in rail vehicles and other applications. By delivering efficient and reliable energy conversion, it ensures consistent climate control, improving passenger comfort and operational reliability.

PICOSINE™ FOR AUXILIARY POWER SUPPLY (APS)

PicoSine™ is an ideal choice for auxiliary power supply systems in rolling stock and industrial settings. It can be used in a multi-stage APS as an intermediate converter, a 3-phase inverter with phase imbalance management, and an auxiliary single-phase output. The high‑frequency characteristic of the PicoSine minimizes the size of the transformer needed to meet the isolation requirements. 

PICOSINE™ FOR LOW VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY (LVPS)

PicoSine™ can be used within a low voltage system as an intermediate converter stage and as a low voltage power supply to source and prioritize essential loads. PicoSine can be implemented in soft‑switching converter topologies, such as Dual Active Bridges (DAB) with advanced control and modulation schemes to minimize switching losses in the semiconductor devices.

PICOSINE™ FOR BATTERY CHARGERS

PicoSine™ serves as an efficient and scalable battery charger that can be customized for any charging profile of any type of battery chemistry and battery pack configuration. Its high efficiency ensures minimal energy loss during charging and discharging cycles. It can be implemented along with LVPS functionalities to provide power to low voltage loads. PicoSine incorporates a critical dead battery start capability, allowing the low-voltage power supply (LVPS) to start even when the onboard battery is fully discharged.
