AmePower's patented high-power converter UltraSine, is an innovative next-generation converter featuring 1/2 MW of power and multi-purpose design for use across a wide range of topologies.
The UltraSine™ propulsion inverter will be on the stand — ½ MW output, over 98% efficient, and 5x smaller and 8x lighter than a traditional converter of the same rating. It stacks to 3 MW per rack and covers 600V, 750V, 1500V and 3000V platforms.
Alongside it, our APS and LVPS — the auxiliary and low-voltage supplies that keep a railcar's onboard loads running: HVAC, lighting, controls and battery charging. Our engineers will explain how each unit drops into an existing platform.
