AmePower's CEO Luis Contreras Speaks at U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Roundtable on High Power Energy Conversion Solutions

Miami, FL – July 12, 2023, – AmePower, a prominent small business specializing in high power energy conversion solutions for rolling stock, renewable energy, fleet electrification, battery energy storage systems, among others, was honored to participate as a distinguished member in the recent Small Business Administration (SBA) roundtable discussion held in Miami. The roundtable, led by U.S. Small Business Administrator: Isabella Casillas Guzman provided a platform to small businesses and aimed to foster communication, economic growth, equity, and access to opportunities for small businesses. The SBA roundtable, held on July 12, brought together small business owners, industry leaders, government representatives, and the local community for an open-dialogue to support and empower small businesses across the nation and drive continued growth. AmePower’s participation as Florida’s Small Businesspersons awardees for 2023 exemplified its commitment to promoting sustainable development of the clean energy sector as a minority-owned small business and continued partnership with the SBA and their local SBDC chapter at Florida International University. Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman’s visit showcased the Biden administration's commitment to small businesses in America, including the launch of their strategic alliance with the American Jewish Committee, to providing resources, access to capital, federal contracting certifications, small business counseling, and disaster recovery resources. Miami-Dade County's Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava was also in attendance as a panelist for the roundtable discussions, highlighting the significance of local leadership and collaboration in supporting the growth and success of small businesses in Miami-Dade County.
